HOW TO SHAKE-CHARGE:

Turn off EDI-T^® and hold it parallel to the ground, then vigorously shake it to make sure its charging magnet passes through the inner barrel from one end to another. An effective shaking frequency can be 3 times or more per second. For 20-30-minute series shakelights, it will take 60-90 shakes (around 20 seconds) for continuously useable illumination of 20-30 minutes; for 1-2-hour series shakelights, it will take 270-300 shakes (around 180 seconds) for continuously useable illumination of 1-2 hours. The first charge may take longer time than the regular shaking time. You can recharge it over and over without destroying it at all.

In the early 1830's, Michael Faraday and Joseph Henry independently discovered the relationship between changing magnetic field and induced electromagnetic force in electrical circuits, as interpreted by Maxwell's Equations.  EDI-T^® contemporarily realises an efficient and reliable portable light source by implementing this classic science principle and integrating the latest high-tech components, optimised materials and designs.
